Launch of New Apple Watch Ultra with 49mm Display with Rugged Design and Night Mode
Apple Watch Ultra was launched by the company at its 'Far Out' event on Wednesday. Previously the company was rumoured to launch a new 'Apple Watch Pro' model, disclosed the new wearable that provides up to 36 hours on one charge whereas a future feature would provide 60 hours of battery life. It would be provided in a single cellular model and sports a 49mm display along with an aerospace-grade titanium body. As per Apple, the Apple Watch would provide dual-frequency support for GPS algorithms and comes with a new Action button which would be programmed to perform numerous functions.

The latest launched Apple Watch Ultra price in India was set at Rs. 89,900. The smartwatch would be available for purchase in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, the UAE, the UK, the US, and over 40 other countries. The regions beginning on September 23, whereas orders for the Apple Watch Ultra would begin tonight.
At the same time, the Apple Watch Ultra were priced at $799 (roughly Rs, 63,600) within the US. The company would sell three watch bands for the new rugged smartwatch: Alpine, Ocean, and Trail.
As per Apple, the new Apple Watch Ultra would sports a 49mm Retina display that would provide around 2,000 nits of peak brightness, housed within titanium body. It would feature a new Wayfinder watch face which was designed for the smartwatch's larger sapphire crystal display. Therefore, this was equipped with a new Action button, which may be used to enable numerous features.
The smartwatch feature three microphones for improved sound quality, along with an adaptive beamforming algorithm which was claimed to cut down ambient background sounds in difficult environments. It provides dual-frequency support for each L1 and L5 GPS algorithms, and Apple was claiming the watch has the foremost correct GPS functioning on any Apple Watch up to now.
With the new Action button, users would be able to quickly begin workouts, or switch to a new Compass Waypoint, Backtrack, tracking their depth at the time od diving with the new gauge. The Action button and the crown was designed to work with gloves.
The Apple Watch Ultra provides around 36 hours of battery life throughout normal use. Meanwhile, the company mentioned that it would a provide a new low-power setting which was claimed to provide around 60 hours of battery backup. Therefore, it was waterproof up to a 100 metres below water, and was certified to EN 13319, that was used for diving accessories.
